We are looking for a Radar System Engineer to lead the selection, integration, and optimization of radar systems for our projects. The role encompasses evaluating radar solutions, collaborating on proof-of-concept development, and implementing advanced signal processing techniques. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal radar performance, design testing scenarios, analyze results, and document technical findings.
What you will be doing:
- Selecting appropriate radar systems based on project-specific requirements and ensuring their optimal integration into existing systems
- Collaborating with engineering teams to develop proof-of-concept designs and enhancements for both active and passive radar applications
- Handling the physical placement, parameters and kinematics setup of radar systems to maximize performance in various operational environments
- Conducting comprehensive testing of radar solutions, including setup, execution, and detailed result analysis
- Communicating effectively with vendors and stakeholders to explore and secure the most efficient radar configurations and technological solutions
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in radar technology and industry standards to ensure compliance and competitive edge
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Experience in precise measurement of kinematics and positions of subsystem and their setup configuration
- Effective understanding and troubleshooting skills for radar, radio and IT applications
- Hands-on experience with signal processing techniques and tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or equivalent)
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards relevant to radar and radio emission system deployment and safety
- Committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest radar technologies and industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams and interactions with suppliers and clients
- Experience in signal processing and robotics is beneficial
