We are looking for a curious Systems Software Engineer, who will develop and enhance the framework, architecture, and control systems of our platform. This role involves seamlessly integrating hardware with user interfaces, improving control reliability, and ensuring robust system performance in different environments.
What you will be doing:
- Build and refine the platform’s framework and architecture, integrating hardware components and user interfaces
- Implement and optimize data processing pipelines and control logic
- Write and maintain hardware drivers to support core product functionality
- Interface with a web application and collaborate with other teams to define and implement shared APIs
- Expose and enhance system monitoring capabilities for improved performance and diagnostics
- Develop better hardware control logic and implement architectural improvements to enhance system reliability
- Support the integration of key hardware components for core products
- Improve control quality and reliability of hardware systems within the platform
- Develop, maintain, debug, and fix software solutions in a fast-paced field environment
- Solve real-time issues to ensure platform stability and reliability
What we are looking for:
- Proficient knowledge of Python
- Strong software development skills and knowledge of common software design principles
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced decision-making environment
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Proactive and curious mindset
- Experience with hardware/embedded systems
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Familiarity with cameras, radars, electricity, and generators
- Proficiency in writing and managing APIs
- Experience with web frameworks (FAST API, Flask, React, Angular, Vue.js)
