We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is excited to build mission-critical robotics software that powers real-world autonomous systems and helps shape the future of defence technology.

What you will be doing:

• Design, develop, and improve robotics software using Python, ROS, and C++ where needed

• Build software for autonomous systems by integrating sensors, radar technologies, and data processing pipelines

• Develop automated tests and validate software in both simulation and on physical hardware

• Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve system performance, reliability, and stability

• Build and maintain Docker-based development environments and CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions

• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

What we are looking for:

• Strong Python development experience

• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Previous experience with data-driven development

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and version control

• Experience with C++ is a plus

• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is an advantage

• Experience working with sensors, radar, IMUs, or other robotics technologies is a bonus

• A curious, collaborative engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building software that performs reliably in real-world environments
